5 Ways to Decorate with Wood Signs Blog

If you’ve been looking for a way to spruce up your home, we have the perfect wood signs for you! We have been quarantined in the house for what seems like a whole year, and now the decoration of our home seems drab at best. As we were moving around our decorations, we kept wanting to add a new sign in a bunch of different places. We couldn’t keep all of these ideas to ourselves, so we came up with this list of 5 ways to decorate your home with wood signs! Check out these decorating tips, then head over to our shop to find to get your favorite wood signs!

1. Place the Wooden Sign on a Table

Easy and chic are our favorite words. Just place a candle on top of some cute books, add a small potted plant next to it (we won’t judge if it’s faux), and your favorite wooden sign on a side table and voila! Interior decorator magic.

2. Make it the focal point

Sometimes less is more. One statement piece is all it takes to give your wall a makeover! Instead of crowding a wall, you can achieve a lot by placing one big sign in the middle.

3. Decorate the front porch with a wooden sign

Nothing says welcome home like personalized touches on your front porch. We recommend a sign with your family name on it above a bench or placing a welcome sign by the door. Simple, yet charming.

4. Place it on a Bookshelf

Bookshelfs are for more than just books! They’re a great way of highlighting a variety of things without it looking overwhelming! Pair a wood sign with your favorite photographs, plants, books, and trinkets! Make sure your items are of varying sizes and have something in coming to tie the pieces together.

5. Pair it with hanging plants

There’s a chance we may have purchased an entire nursery’s worth of plants since quarantine started (oops). Thankfully, hanging planters look fantastic next to wood signs! Grab some macramé hangers, a few plants, and your favorite wooden sign to create a calm and cool decorated wall. Place the larger planters to the far side of the wood sign so that it looks proportional and doesn’t block your sign from a different angle.
